Delivery and Returns

UK Deliveries

Orders for UK delivery will be shipped by letter post (for small items like spare parts) or overnight carrier usually Interlink depending on location for most of our main products. We aim to hold all products in stock and normal time from placing an online order to receipt of goods is 2 - 3 working days. After placing your order you will usually receive a tracking number and link to enable you to track the delivery of your order if this does not appear please feel free to conatct us directly where we will be happy to assist.  Occasionally items may be on a longer delivery and we will notify customers if delivery is expected to be longer than 30 days from receipt of your order. All goods sent by carrier require a signature upon delivery. Use the delivery instructions text box on the order system if you would like to suggest another location of you are out - ideally a neighbour. If no signature can be taken then a card will be left and you will need to call the number on the card to arrange re-delivery.

Delivery charges are based on order value.

European Deliveries

After placing your order you will receive a tracking number and link to enable you to track the delivery of your order.  Occasionally items may be on a longer delivery and we will notify customers if delivery is expected to be longer than 30 days from receipt of your order. All goods sent by carrier require a signature upon delivery. Use the delivery instructions text box on the order system if you would like to suggest another location of you are out - ideally a neighbour. If no signature can be taken then a card will be left and you will need to call the number on the card to arrange re-delivery.

Delivery charges are based on order value. 

Please note that the following countries incur an additional £25 customs clearance charge this is non-negotiable: Bosnia-Herzegovina / Croatia / Iceland / Liechtenstein / Montenegro / Norway / Serbia / Switzerland

We routinely ship our products throughout the world but because of the variety of destinations and carriage options we need to quote delivery charges for each order. You can either go ahead and place your order on the website and we will notify you of the carriage charge or If you would prefer you can email us for a quotation for the goods you need along with your delivery address and we will reply with the carriage charge. We always charge carriage at cost.

Late Deliveries

In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be canceled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.
If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Brinsea Products Ltd and are proud of the quality, range and advice that we offer. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it (cancel your contract);

  • You must contact us within 14 days from the date the goods came into your possession (or someone appointed to receive them on your behalf)
  • Contact us via Email, fax or in writing at the address below.
  • Please complete the details on the returns note, supplied with goods
  • You are required to return the goods to us (or otherwise provide evidence such return) in order to be entitled to a refund. We will refund you within 14 days of cancellation of a service contract or receipt of goods (or of evidence of you returning them)
  • Return the goods to us with the product's original packaging and labels within 30 days of receipt.
  • All goods to be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
  • We recommend that all items returned to us to be sent Royal Mail special delivery with insurance paid as a minimum or collection can be arranged.
  • If you feel the goods are faulty please contact us immediately and we will then contact you to resolve the matter, the above conditions also apply.

  • You have 30 days from receipt in which to return your order.
  • You will have to pay the return cost of postage or collection can be arranged at your cost for larger items.
