Delivery and Returns

UK Deliveries:

Orders for UK delivery will be shipped by letter post (for small items like spare parts) or by carrier, usually DPD, depending on location for most of our main products. We aim to hold all products in stock and normal time from placing an online order to receipt of goods is 3 – 5 working days. Occasionally items may be on a longer delivery and we will notify customers if delivery is expected to be longer than 30 days from receipt of your order. All goods sent by carrier require a signature upon delivery. Use the comments text box on the order system if you would like to suggest another location if you are out – ideally a neighbour. If no signature can be taken then a card will be left and you will need to call the number on the card to arrange re-delivery.

NOTE: Please check your parcel before signing for it. If there is any visible or possible damage to the parcel please mark in the signature box that ‘Damaged when received’ when signing it.

Delivery charges are based on order value.

Charges are flat for Mainland UK.

European Deliveries:

We are currently unable to ship direct to Europe, please contact one of our European distributors who will be able to advise you on delivery times when purchasing from them.

International Non-European Deliveries

We routinely ship our products throughout the world but because of the variety of destinations and carriage options we need to quote delivery charges for each order. You can either go ahead and place your order on the website and we will notify you of the carriage charge or if you would prefer you can email us for a quotation for the goods you need along with your delivery address and we will reply with the carriage charge. We always charge carriage at cost.

Late Deliveries:

In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.

If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier.

Large Items:

Larger orders where more than one item has been ordered may also be delivered on a pallet. Please ensure you are able to take delivery before ordering.

Returns and exchanges:

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Brinsea Products Ltd and are proud of the quality, range and advice that we offer. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it (cancel your contract);

  • Please contact us within 14 working days from the day after the delivery day
  • Contact us via email or in writing at the address below.
  • Return it to us with the products original packaging and labels within 30 days of receipt.
  • All goods to be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
  • We recommend that all items returned to us to be sent Royal Mail special delivery with insurance paid as a minimum or collection can be arranged.
  • If you feel the goods are faulty please contact us immediately and we will then contact you to resolve the matter, the above conditions also apply.

You have 30 days from receipt in which to return your order.

You will have to pay the return cost of postage or collection can be arranged at your cost for larger items.
